My Gall Bladder - I’ll call him George.

Well, the ultrasound went… um… well, I’m not sure.

I got to see all of my organs in the upper right quadrant of my abdomen though! I decided to name my gall bladder. His name is George. I won’t love him and hug him and squeeze him, but it’s nice to put a name with a face, you know.

The tech who did the photo shoot for George was really sweet. She even told me that at one point she’d been to Africa and went on a gorilla trek!! However she also told me that she can’t tell me anything, she doesn’t analyze them, she just takes the pictures and sends them on to the doctor.

I saw her putting little white marks on certain things - but don’t know what those things were.

Supposedly I should hear back on Monday or Tuesday *sigh* from the doctor to hear what he thinks. I’ve been really gassy lately too - so she’s saying that maybe it’s just IBS… I don’t know. I’m frankly sick and tired of all these invalid diagnosis-es.

So there you have it. I’m no further ahead in knowledge other than to have met George, camera to face. :(

  1. “I won’t love him and hug him and squeeze him, but it’s nice to put a name with a face, you know.” Too funny - I love that reference!

It’s no fun feeling crappy AND not knowing what’s causing it. I hope you are feeling better very soon. :-)

  2. :) I had to get silly about it - otherwise I’d just be pissed off about the whole thing! LOL

Thanks for stopping by, Miss Rachel!! :)

  3. Good luck Lara! I’ll be interested to see what they find.

Glad to see you are in good spirits!

  4. Just came across your blog at random and wanted to suggest that you try eating some fresh ripe figs (like 5 a day for a few days). I’ve had several health problems that seemed to go away when I ate figs, including an eusophageal ulcer.

Also, a great way to lose weight and be as healthy as can be is to adopt a raw food diet of fresh fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, sprouts, raw dairy etc.

    Peace,
    John

  5. Well, I just found out I can finally see a GI specialist on November 9th. Yes, that’s November 9th. not October 9th. If you’ve been following along, I had my ultrasound in July…

I can so relate, Hun! *hugs*

    I hope you feel better!

I’ve decided to just start back on mostly Core starting next week once my family leaves from visiting.
