Moving the Modeling and Acting Stuff…
Okay gang - I hate to do this, but because of all the confusion and hassle, I’m going to be moving all my modeling and acting information to a new site (to be announced shortly!).
I really hate the idea of doing this, because I’m linked to this site from Mo’Nique’s show site - but fortunately since the show queries have died down (it’s already aired and the winner’s been declared) and with that horrible thing I was forced to put in the comment section, the comments and emails have died down some. Not entirely, though… and I’m still getting about 300-400 visits a day from people either from the Oxygen site or from searching for the show.
How weird is that? I tell ya this, it’s made for some interesting SEO research for me! LOL My site’s been online for a very long time (despite it’s many revisions and changes of content) and I have appeared ABOVE Mo’Nique’s website in some of these searches… too weird!
Anyway - The restructuring will make things a little confusing for some of you I’m sure, but please stick with me? I’m grateful as all get out for all the new readers I’ve gotten since being featured on the show’s website, and I don’t want to lose you all. But it’s time to make some delineations somewhere… Don’t worry, everything will be very well linked and visible from one site to the other, so I promise you won’t get lost! :D

You’re missing the boat on why this has happened to you, and what could be the opportunity of a lifetime. Why? Go to google, and type: Plus Model. You might expect the first site returned to be a link to a site featuring Emme, Kate Dillon, Barbara Brickner, or plus size fashion in general. You would be mistaken. Your site is the first returned from Google when you do this search. So all of those people who were confusing you with Mo’Nique have elevated your site to be broadcast to a much larger audience.
[Comment edited - Thanks Dave, I did know that - but these people are not coming to my site by searching in Google for “plus model” - they’re coming here by searching for the show. I can’t help that I’m appearing at the top position in the search engines for the show’s title. I have worked hard at making the site appear where it is for “plus model” though - since I’m an SEO/Internet Marketing specialist, your comment makes me feel good to know my work has paid off, and that I can succeed even with my own website. Maybe Mo’Nique’s people should hire me!] :)
