I’ve lost a total of 30 lbs. in 5 months!
Okay, so 6 pounds a month is slightly below what I’d like it to be on average, but given that it’s been a month or so since I’ve lost anything, and now I’m at an even 30 gone, I’m pretty happy!
I haven’t been at 222 in quite some time, and at 252, I thought it was going to take me forever to get here. I really haven’t done all that much by way of changing anything, which is likely why it’s taken a little longer than I might’ve thought. But seriously? It feels like it hasn’t been all that long.
My next “mini goal” is to get into the 100’s. The bf and I are planning on becoming “weekend warriors” at the gym (I can’t go without him because of the plan we’re on, and he works crazy hours during the week). He’s working on his eating habits and I’m going to just kind of follow along and know that the weight’s gonna keep coming off. You can keep up with us by checking out our joint site No More Happy Fat. Update: Um, no details, but I’m going at this alone from this point forward.
So there we go! I’m going to try to hang on without having to buy too many clothes right now, but I’ve gotta say, all but one pair of jeans are literally falling off me!

Wow! Just think of how you are going to feel at the end of the summer when you break the 200 mark! I will be watching you and cheering you on. Most people have quit on their New Years resolution by now. You keep on going! Good for you.
Awhhh thanks, Jeff! :)
I’m really hoping to do that by the end of summer for sure. Given the average I’ve run for the past 5 months, then I’d have to say that it should take just under four more months for me to make that break - which is August. Maybe sooner if I wind up getting the gym thing going (I might buy my own membership if I find myself wanting to go without the BF).
I know it’s supposed to slow down and get harder to lose once you’ve been losing for a while and get closer to your goal weight, so I’m also (secretly, deep inside) hoping to break 175 by the end of the year, and then maybe hit goal of 155 by my 32nd birthday in April 2009!
Congrats on such great results, your hard work is paying off!
Way to go !!!!
Thanks ladies! I’m really excited about the loss, and now I’m going forward to really push myself and get healthy!
