I’m an addict.
Okay. So I have this little problem when it comes to trying new things. Normally, when I finally find something I like, I can’t let go of it. Even if I find something I think I might like better.
Right now, I’m a member of WW Online. Have been for YEARS. It did work for me, quite well in fact, at one time. And I can’t stand the thought of letting go of the subscription, because (aside from the fact that I think I might have a touch of OCD) I really do like to check the points values of my food intake… when I remember to do it.
So what do I go and do? Joined eDiets.com. LOL
First off, they’re cheaper than WW Online (even though I have no intention of leaving WW Online). But aside from that, check out this nifty “mydiet” page (click to see full sized image):
Why on EARTH does WW not do this? They make you click all over hell to check out different things, find the BMI calculators, always having to re-enter your info… what the hell, WW?
You’d think they’d want to compete, price-wise at least, with the largest online diet community out there. (Yes, eDiets IS larger than WW Online.) But then to not only NOT compete there, they don’t compete nearly as nicely as eDiets does when it comes to stuff like tracking and progress!
So there it is. I’m now spending over $30/month for online diet services.
What the hell’s wrong with me?

Pardon me while I do my impression of that kid from that Home Alone movie.

Hiya Lara! :-D
Probably WW Online is hoping that they have a lot of loyal customers who either won’t go anywhere else or like you are loathe to give it up. The question should be is that 30 bucks a month worth it? Or more to the point is it helping? If it is, it’s money well spent.
I prefer sparkpeople.com. It’s as good as the other online services, but it’s for free. I intend to spend the $30 per month (or, Euro in my case) for new clothes. ;-)

OMG Lara It’s been SOOO long. Gosh I have a lot of reading to do to catch up. Like the new look. I agree with your first poster, I love fitday.com! But I also tried eDiets and a few others. Funny thing, even though I’m a WW enthusiast I never joined online. Weird, huh?
