Exposure in the womb to common chemicals used to make everything from plastic bottles to pizza box liners may program a person to become obese later in life, U.S. researchers said on Wednesday.

I’m not all that sure if I buy this, but shouldn’t pregnant mothers be careful of exposing themselves to these kinds of things anyway? I mean, I remember going to the nail salon and watching a pregnant woman breathing in the dust from her acrylic nails and the fumes from the nail polish, and thinking, “WTF?”
