Changin’ Things Up

Okay, so it’s New Year’s Eve.

And I’m bound and determined to make some serious changes in my life for 2008. Call them resolutions, call them awakenings, call them what you will, but it’s just high time I do some major work on my life.

Some people are forever trying to reinvent themselves. Some people just consistently strive to be better in some way. Others call it “harsh reality” that they’re in the situations they’re in, and they decide to just exist. I can’t be stagnant though.

I know what I want in my life. I want a happy, healthy, loving, and serious relationship. I want financial security. I want to lose weight and be healthier and just feel better (ie. Be able to walk up a flight of stairs without breathing heavy). I want to quit smoking. I want a nice house with nice things. I want children. And absolutely none of this is going to happen with stagnancy, or by trying to accept things the way they are right now. The only person who can make these changes in my life is me, and look out, because here they come.

I have some serious plans that need to be put into action. Dreams and ideas of things that could get me a lot of those things mentioned above, that require my determination to achieve. It’s a matter of taking the time to do it. And I deserve it, dammit.

So you’re going to see some major stuff going on around here - I’m changing up the site in order to make it easier for me to post and keep track of things, for both myself and my readers. I’ve got a couple projects that have been sitting on the back burner while I fidget around and they’re no longer going to be back there, wasting space, time, and money. It’s time for a major restructuring of my life, and I can’t wait! I’m EXCITED to be on this journey toward a better, happier, healthier life.

Why don’t you join me? ;)
