The Biggest Loser 3 - Episode 10 Recap

Less than 2 weeks before they go home… wow.

Erik’s the last guy from Blue - he’s nervous about telling Bob that he’s the one who sent Marty home…

“When I heard how the votes went, I was so mad, I couldn’t see straight,” said Bob.

Kim just grabs up her team to work out. Bob yells at Erik, “What were you thinking? WHAT were you thinking?”
Erik responds with how it’s a game and it’s about him now. Bob gets emotional… REALLY emotional. “Week after week, I keep saying goodbye to these people… ” :( I love Bob.

Bob gets intense on Erik. He’s encouraging, but it’s also to keep HIM there at the ranch, because if Erik falls below the yellow line, he’s gone, and so is Bob. This hasn’t even come close to happening before, and I’m starting to wonder if there’s something behind it - having to do with Jillian not being there, or some crap with the bloody (red team) bitches… I don’t know, but I know I don’t like it.

Damn. I was typing through the pee commercial break.

Kim starts talking to everyone about how to enjoy holiday meals without completely falling off the wagon.

They start with the Jennie-O preseasoned turkey.

Stuffing, cranberries, salad, etc. Just tweaking recipes to use lower fat and lower calorie substitutes. It’s a great concept, IF you’re the one cooking. :P

Challenge Time

Racetrack. Barrels. Weights listed on the barrels.

It’s the Biggest Loser Derby! They have to put every pound they’ve lost back on, and race the one mile, dropping their weights along the way, based on the amount they lost each week. Winner gets a family member flown to the ranch, and get to spend a whole day and night together. Adrian starts saying she’s been there 3 weeks and is really homesick. Poor whiner.

Heather had to sit it out… she was bummed. I clapped.

Wylie’s got the early lead. Next is Adrian, but she misses the barrel. HA!
Jaron’s in second, Erik’s after him. Kai’s at the end.

Wylie’s way ahead… wow. But he didn’t hit the barrel, and he has to go back. Jaron moves to the lead.

Adrian’s in 2nd. Woah, the at homers are in the lead.

Pee. Now.

Jaron’s going to get this one. Adrian’s right behind him, saying, “Jaron, you know how homesick I am? Very very homesick.” LOL He doesn’t seem to give a rat’s ass. LOL

Jaron wins! His wife’s coming.

Adrian’s second. Wylie. Erik and Kai come in together - that was kinda sweet.

Jaron says a big part of why he wanted to do the show was to become the man she deserved… hmm. She’s talking about a phenomenal change in Jaron. IT’S ONLY BEEN THREE WEEKS FOR CRYING OUT EFFIN’ LOUD!! GET OVER YOURSELVES!

Last Chance Workout

Jaron’s wife is running with them… awhhh. *gag*

Bob’s pushing Erik, rather, Erik’s pulling Bob on the end of a towel. LOL

Kim just kept them running. Running. Running. More running.

Last shot of Erik before commercial looks like he’s had a bucket of water dumped on him. His WHOLE SHIRT was soaked with sweat, sticking to him. OhEmGee!!

Jaron’s wife’s bawling. She wants him home, but doesn’t want him to come home. He said something about seeing her in 30 days, and she said, “Nooooo - change your thinking!” Duh, they’re all going home in two weeks. DUH!

I’m so nervous for Erik. So nervous. He says he WANTS to finish this through. I’m so nervous.

Jaron - 223, down 8. He hit 100 lbs! 3.46%
Heather - 174, down 5. 2.79%
Kai - 189, down 9. 4.55%
Wylie - 224, down 12! 5.08%
Adrian - 161, down 2. “No way! I must’ve ran at least seven miles a day! Like, NO WAY!” Wah. She’s talking. Shut up. She’s talking and whining and crying. Shut up. 1.23%
Erik - (praying through the commercial break) 295! down 12! HE’S SAFE!!! He’s in the 200’s now! He’s lost more weight than anyone ever has at the ranch. 3.91%

Heather and Adrian are below the line. Yikes. Adrian’s going home, I just know it. It’d be stupid, because she’s just starting now to pull low numbers.

Bob was prepared for the worst when he walked in… HUGE grin on Bob’s face when he finds out Erik’s safe, and lost 12 pounds. Adrian’s crying, comparing it to everyone else’s big numbers. She’s afraid that she can’t beat the 160’s. I know that feeling though, but it’s with the 240’s. *sigh*

Erik’s lost 43 pounds in 3 weeks. (Um, sorry, it’s more like *four and a half, but okay. Fine. Three. It’s still amazing anyway!)

*A TBL week actually is 10 days, not 7. Funny, because even Adrian said “Seven days, two pounds. Wahhh…” Sorry, but Gary (from season 1) even said that it’s actually more like 10 days. Unless they’ve changed it, but I doubt it.

Eliminations

Kai voted for Adrian, because Heather is her best friend. Yep.
Jaron voted for Heather, because Adrian’s pushed him and been a friend.
Erik voted for Adrian, because she’s the strongest competitor, and because he has to stay loyal to the people who started on the ranch.

Don’t need to see Wylie’s vote, because even if he voted for Heather, it’d be a tie, and since she was lowest, she’d go anyway. Erik said something really sweet to her and she got to crying even harder.

One more week and we hit the final four!

Adrian, after - She really wanted to break the 160 at the ranch. She says she knows she can do it, and she loves Kim. “I’m NOT a fat girl!” She’s home, down to 166. Same as she was last at the ranch. But her attitude is WHOLLY different. If that’s all she got out of being there, good for her. But damn, I’m SO glad to see the whiner gone!

Next week: 2 hours. Damn. But it’s something about two high schools doing the TBL diet/workout, and then the last show before the live finale. Wheee!!!

That’s it for now, gang… what’d ya think?
