Getting Messy Again…
I’m looking around my office this morning, after quickly scanning today’s “To Do” list, and realizing that I’ve slacked off on dedicating an hour a day to de-cluttering and organizing my home and my office.
Fact is, I’ve been quite content doing real, paying work these last few weeks, and have slacked off elsewhere. :) I haven’t even gone through my photos from the Michael Buble concert Tina and I went to on Saturday! *swooooooooooooooon* (I touched him!!)

But back to the “To Do” list and my messiness…
I made that image back when I first started my business, and had no clients to work on. It’s half-jokingly poking fun at the fact that I started this thing out being quite lazy about getting started.
My list now looks a lot more like this:

I really like being busy. Sure, it makes time fly too fast sometimes, but it’s that sense of going to bed feeling like I accomplished things that encourages me to be busy.
Now that the weather’s nicer (or getting there) I’m really going to try to get out and start walking. I might even track it like I am my food journal, trying to go a little farther every week or something. It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten on a walking program (I mean a LONNNNNG time) and since I don’t have gym access right now, I think it would be the only real exercise I could get. I do have a treadmill, but it’s just not the same as getting out there in the fresh air and really working the pavement… :)
I know that I always feel better when I’m organized, in cleaned up, decluttered surroundings, and getting some exercise. Summer’s coming and I need to have that “feel good” attitude, simply because I typically spend the entire winter without it… holed up in the house, looking out at the greyness and the cold, and I yearn for nice weather every year around my birthday. The lighter clothes come out, the tanning appointments begin (because there’s no way I’m going to ever have time to just grease up and lay in the sun), and I just feel healthier in the nice weather than I do in the cold. (Let’s not forget the summer fruits and salads and grilling up some chicken breast with mangos and oranges!)
Gah - I’m getting excited already!
So there you have it… La’s giving up on messiness. ;) I REALLY can’t wait until this year’s village-wide garage sale… I’ve got SO MUCH CRAP to get rid of! (I’m even going to have a dumpster here that weekend, so that I can toss whatever doesn’t sell or get donated!)
