Peter Pan Peanut Butter = Salmonella
Okay, so I get the news, check my jar, and lo and behold? It’s of the lot that’s infected with Salmonella Tennessee.
Come to find out - anyone who’s eaten PP PB with a lot number that starts with ‘2111′ since MAY OF 2006 - has injested salmonella.
What.
The.
HELL!?!?
It takes them almost a year to discover this?
I mean, I haven’t had symptoms or anything, but what the hell?!?!?!
Check your PB gang - I’ve been eating this stuff for decades. *sigh*

We have two jars of it (and I’m in Missouri, so we definitely know it’s all over the place)…I have the reduced fat (green lid) variety. Both jars start with 2111. One is almost gone. Nice, huh? I’m glad that we didn’t get sick. It just makes me afraid to eat anything! Meat scares, veggie scares, now PB scares….what’s next?
