I have to ask you…

How many of you have heard of “The Secret“?

How many of you have read it?

I’ve been thinking of a special project I want to do lately, and before you answer my questions, I just want to say a few things without totally giving away the project:

  • I have had faith in “The Secret” since the first day I heard about it.
  • I have put “The Secret” to use in my life since that same day.
  • I have experienced the positive effect it’s had on my life in general since that day.
  • I am thankful for the manifestation of my intentions since that day, and for all the days to come.

I’m just curious to know if any of you have had experiences with it, or even just opinions. I’m not here to change your mind one way or the other, but rather to just talk about it.

Since putting “The Secret” in a prominent place in my life: I have intended wealth, and it has come to me. I have intended love, and I believe that it has now come to me (or is well on it’s way at least). I have intended health, and it has come to me.

And all of this in under a year.

I’m kinda feeling pretty damn good right now… and I just wanted to share that with you all.

What are your thoughts?

  1. I’ve always believed strongly in visualization and positive thoughts - and optimizim. The last time I lost weight (then gained with pregnancy) I used visualization every night as I slept. I envisioned a strong, muscular body with organs working in perfect harmony. Smooth body lines. I envisioned those strong muscles working hard when I did my exercising. I did NOT focus on the fat giggling from my belly down onto my thighs LOL!

I think it had a very strong positive impact in my efforts. I don’t think the Secret is a big secret or anything new. I just think the author made a lot of money off of putting it down on paper. But it works so if people benefitted from it than that is what God intended.

    just my 2 cents!

  2. Thanks Kim!

I agree - “The Secret” is neither a secret or anything new. The author even says that in the book, and so do the others who participated in it.

My opinion on the book? Whatever works, right? LOL It got me to change my way of thinking, even though I’ve heard before “But you have to think POSITIVELY!”

Thanks for sharing your story about using the power of positive thinking, Kim!
