So it’s another rainy day here. And I decided that while I’m working on some work-ish projects, I was going to take breaks and do something toward cleaning up and organizing the house. Wherever the hell I felt like it, but just to do something…

So my first one for the day was to go through my closet and clear out anything I didn’t wear over the fall/winter, put it in bags, and take it to this brand new clothing donation bin they put in the village. If it weren’t raining, I might’ve actually hiked it by foot, because wouldn’t that have been a COOL way to exercise - with two 15 lb bags of clothes swinging from my arms?!? But I really wanted to get back here quickly so I could do some web stuff and then find something else “organizational” to do. :)

I so wish I could either hire someone or get on that show “Mission: Organization” and have them come into my house. I tell you, I could film a whole month’s worth of shows for those people! Unfortunately, I don’t live close enough to the areas they film in… and I don’t have the money to pay someone either.

So it’s just me and my HGTV. LOL

So my next mini-project (after I finish typing this, and going back to the closet for some organizing by style and color) will be to grab my Swiffer and get all the floors and ceilings. It’s amazing how just one little thing like that can make a difference. I get so tired of seeing dog hair fuzzballs all over the place. GREYHOUNDS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SHED! LOL Actually, only Tari really sheds much at all. Tollie’s not active enough, and Timer’s too dark (lighter greyhounds - fawn and white - tend to shed more than others, as their fur is thinner strand for strand, and they have more strands).

So there it is - One of many weekend mini projects completed.

• clean bathroom

I’ve got a LOT on my list this weekend! But I’m gonna do it! I think I’m going to create a master task list, where I can keep track of things I’m wanting to do and how long it takes me to do them… right here on the site! :) Keep your eyes out for it… it might give you some ideas!
